How to Build a Container Home

This 8′ wide, 20′ long container home packs a lot in in terms of features and cosmetics with the small footprint the builder, Anothony Lopez of Alternative Living Spaces had. Container homes make so much sense. the foundation, walls, doors and roof are already in place before you even break out your tools. And the number of approaches you can take them turning them into a tiny house? Unlimited. And this thing isn’t just mass produced. It has some really unique features like a handmade sliding barn door, old 1920’s restored clothes drawer…you get the idea. Just watch and enjoy! Can you hear the ocean if you put your ear to it?

Kitchen is too big, I would make it smaller and expand the seating area to have guest over or just chill and watch tv

Only the materials that cost you? $ 40,000 for a room without a real kitchen, a real double bed and a real wardrobe seem to me so many. That environment is not made to be inhabited, but to accommodate breach periods.
I think only materials including the container should be between 10 and 15 thousand dollars.

is this another thing hipster douchebags will ruin for everyone else, cant wait till these assholes start selling them for 100k+ cause its some new lifestyle fad. And to be honest 40 thousand dollars seems like a lot of money for a shipping container and some wood.

It'd take a loooong time to recoup a $40k investment through AirBnB rentals.

When I build one like this I will add one more Container that will be a huge walk-in closet and storage space! No way to get lots of shoes and clothing in that small home there as it is now.
